FIRST THERE WAS NOTHING
First there was nothing
And people were restless
In search for a meaning
A purpose for existence
And Man discovers God
As cognition evolves
Sometimes he was angry
sometimes downright rude
He was nameless
He was omnipotent
And stood for good
as it should
But something was amiss
A space for a nemesis
Vile and dastardly
full of spite
A coward, a curse
A charlatan or worse
A persona of everything bad
Brimming with evil and mad
A name was needed
 Satan someone decided
and thus was restored
balance to the world
