THE SHOW MUST GO ON

So what if the brass is broken and the threads tattered and bare
The wood is winded and the melody no longer there
So what if the tin does not resound with voices sweet and shrill
and the barrel is hollow, the percussion lost its thrill
So what if the paper's review was written without a clue
and the lead was blurred, its notes not heard
So what if your wheels refuse to move,
No pedal to metal, no rhythm no groove
So what if the steel lost its edge,  strings broken overstretched
The game hasn't stopped, the squares aren't free,
Kingdom and Pawn are just sipping tea,
The Baton still whirls, as breath is drawn,
The show hasn't ended, it must go on
